But as soon as you start learning her backstory your heart breaks for her. Talk about having it rough. She has been used and taken advantage of in ways that would make most people curl up into a ball and waste away. After her capture Raph takes over as leader of the Nephilim with two others and he undertakes the task of making her talk but insists that they are better than that and he comes up with a plan that is… unique to say the least. I really liked the characters, I thought they were well-rounded and real in their emotions and reactions to certain traumas and stimuli. The story itself was quite dark but thoroughly entertaining.”
